The Senior Programming Analyst is responsible for providing Process Automation supporting a safe, high quality and high-performance working environment; continually looking to eradicate losses, build new capabilities, and implement new technologies.
General activities include supporting manufacturing plants with process control system programming and automation, control system design for automated machinery and processes, assisting with new projects and plant improvement initiatives, and maintaining control software systems. This role reports directly to the Site Facilities / Maintenance Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing process control system programming and assist in control system design for computer-controlled machinery and processes.
Trouble-shoot operational problems in the production plants as it relates to process control issues and field hardware
Set-up of programming computers and configuration of plant floor HMIs
Updating process control software ensuring the system is set up efficiently to maximize reliability
Maintaining software back-ups for PLC, HMI, drive programs and other control systems
Provide support and training for less experienced programmers, electricians and other affected personnel
Work with multi-discipline teams to achieve project or plant goals
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
University Degree and 2 years of relevant work experience, or an Advanced Degree with 1 year of relevant work experience
Military experience considered in lieu of education requirement.
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
Computer network systems such as Ignition, Factory Talk view; thorough knowledge of Rockwell platforms; MS Office Applications
Experience working in a high speed, continuous flow manufacturing environment
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner using the appropriate methodologies
Knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing methodologies and tools such as value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and RCA
Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills, balances team and individual responsibilities, and builds constructive relationships to achieve goals collaboratively
Displays creativity and resourcefulness which generate innovative approaches and ideas
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Full time with operational support outside core business hours as needed to support the 24x7 manufacturing environment
Willing and able to meet physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations: standing and walking for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, wear all required personal protective equipment, and use of basic hand tools

The position is not eligible for domestic relocation
Ability to work in office and plant manufacturing environments
