The Company's Total Rewards package is at or above industry levels. The expected base salary range for this position is between 130,800.00 USD - 171,675.00 USD. Job related skills, experience, education, and location will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive and/or long-term incentives. Step into a high‑impact role with SC Johnson’s Lifestyle Brands as the Supply Planning Manager, based in our vibrant Chicago, IL office. Reporting to the LSB Supply Chain Planning Director, you will shape the end‑to‑end supply strategy that fuels some of the company’s most dynamic and fast‑growing brands. In this role, you’ll transform demand signals into feasible, optimized supply plans while orchestrating the people, processes, and systems that drive supply planning, inventory management, and S&OP/S&OE execution. Your decisions will directly influence service performance, cost efficiency, and cash optimization—making you a central force in delivering business success.
As a people‑first leader, you will elevate a high‑performing team by providing clear decision guardrails, strengthening planning judgment, and empowering planners to confidently own outcomes. You will foster a culture that values critical thinking, scenario exploration, and strong cross‑functional partnership. A key responsibility of this role is championing the adoption and ongoing maturity of Kinaxis RapidResponse, enabling improved scenario planning, exception‑based management, and faster, more informed decision‑making across the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the end‑to‑end finished goods supply plan, ensuring feasibility against capacity, labor, and network constraints.
Evaluate and challenge supply plans using analytics, shifting focus from plan creation to decision‑focused review.
Partner cross‑functionally to surface risks, make tradeoffs explicit, and align supply decisions with service, cost, and inventory goals.
Lead Supply S&OP (Step 3) and S&OE execution with clear decision rights, escalation paths, and follow‑through.
Conduct scenario analysis and “what‑must‑be‑true” modeling to support decisions under uncertainty.
Champion full adoption and effective use of Kinaxis Rapid Response to continuously improve decision quality.
Foster a fact‑based planning culture by making assumptions, risks, and downstream impacts visible through analytics.
Lead and develop supply planners by setting decision guardrails, building critical thinking, and reinforcing accountability and learning.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in supply chain, with depth in a planning role serving a manufacturing environment, using advanced planning systems to support scenario analysis and decision‑making
3+ years people leadership experience
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
Kinaxis Rapid Response experience
Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., ASCM, IBF) is a plus.
Demonstrated success improving service, inventory, and plan adherence through better planning decisions.
Ability to communicate assumptions, risks, and downstream impacts clearly and transparently to drive alignment without formal authority.
Comfort balancing speed and rigor—knowing when to act rather than wait for perfect data.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Position is Full-Time, regular business hours, Monday-Friday
Office work environment: Chicago, IL office
Remote work available once a week after 90-day onboarding period
Travel up to 10%
Domestic relocation assistance is not available for this position
