The Associate Manager, Human Resources, Field HR, supports the execution of HR initiatives for Malasia organization. Will support the business by aligning with HR Operations, COEs, and HR Business Partners in all aspects of Human Resources, to deliver HR programs and initiatives across the organization. The Associate Manager, Human Resources, Field HR will support employee relations, onboarding, talent management, leadership development, change management, diversity, performance management, workforce planning and compensation planning / implementation.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as a local HR Business Partner, providing proactive guidance, communication, and general HR support to employees.
Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and compliance with Malaysian employment laws and practices.
Execute HR programs and processes while managing multiple priorities through effective project management, system proficiency, and clear communication.
Support the implementation of HR initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
Collaborate with the Global and Regional HR Business Partner, HR Delivery Center and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to ensure consistent execution of HR strategies and practices in the organization.
Collect, organize, and analyze feedback from individuals and teams to inform HR strategies and improvements.
Assist in resolving HR operational issues and provide day-to-day support to the HR team.
Lead change management initiatives to support organizational transformation and employee adaptation.
Oversee the implementation and delivery of relevant training programs to support employee development.
Drive employee engagement and cultural initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
Contribute to special projects and perform related duties as assigned.
Support the Talent Acquisition process and onboarding all roles.
Assist in the annual compensation process, ensuring fairness and alignment with company policies.
Contribute to the development and execution of the country-level Labor Relations strategy.
Support the delivery of Talent Management and Organizational Effectiveness programs, including PMP, MS&D, GPTW, GEOS, and others.
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Solid understanding of general HR policies, procedures, and best practices, with working knowledge of the Malaysia Employment Act 1955.
Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues across all organizational levels to gather and synthesize information.
Strong team player with excellent prioritization skills and the ability to contribute meaningfully in collaborative environments.
Highly adaptable and resilient in fast-paced, dynamic settings, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive change.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Human Relations, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a related HR function
Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Consulting & Advising: Drive initiatives and mandates by consulting stakeholders, building strong relationships, and ensuring alignment with corporate strategies and objectives.
Employee Relations: Apply in-depth knowledge of labor legislation, regulations, and best practices to manage the formal employment relationship between the organization and its employees.
Human Resources Management (HRM): Demonstrate a solid understanding of HRM principles, policies, and practices to support organizational effectiveness.
Recruitment & Selection: Provide strategic guidance and hands-on support in attracting, sourcing (e.g., advertising, job fairs), evaluating (e.g., selection criteria and strategy), interviewing, and onboarding talent to meet organizational needs.
Customer Focus: Deliver exceptional service to both internal employees and external stakeholders, ensuring a positive and responsive HR experience.
