ABOUT THE ROLE:
Become a key member of our dynamic Global Information Security (GIS) Operations team as the Associate Manager for Global Information Security Incident Response and Operations. In this role, you will be crucial in detecting, analyzing, and addressing security incidents. This position provides a unique chance to make a substantial impact by working with diverse stakeholders to maintain the security and integrity of our systems and data at SCJ. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspire and Educate: Develop and deliver captivating cybersecurity training for incident prevention/response that empowers employees, contractors, and external partners to protect themselves and the organization.
Drive Success: Use metrics and findings from incidents to continuously enhance our security strategies including post-monitoring of incidents to promote prevention of incidents.
Collaborate and Innovate: Be a core member of cross-functional teams, including IT, Legal, Communications, and HR, to implement a robust incident management program across the organization.
Detect and Protect: Monitor security alerts from various sources and respond effectively to mitigate impact(s) through incident response management, leveraging both existing and new communication channels.
Engage and Motivate: Develop content to identify lessons learned and implement action plans to prevent future incidents by updating and maintaining relevant procedures for incident response.
Communicate Effectively: Prepare and execute direct security communications with the IR lead to stakeholders regarding incident status and resolution.
Threat Management:Collaborate with threat management team to continuously monitor the threat landscape, identifying new trends, threats, and best practices to ensure the program remains relevant and adaptive to secure the organization.
Business Risk Acumen: Foster strong relationships and knowledge across various business functions to reduce high-risk areas by addressing critical cybersecurity gaps through collaborations and trainings with the IR lead.
Security Expertise:Elevate the Incident Response function to become a leading partner in securing the human attack surface.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Law, or related discipline
4+ years’ work experience in information security, risk management, or IT service management.
Excellent English communication skills
Ability to interact with colleagues of all levels to gather information
Skilled in conducting research and using existing knowledge to resolve inquiries
Job Requirements:
Permanent, full-time employment
Onsite work setup (M-F); 1 day remote per week after 3 months (4x office + 1 day remote/week)
Dayshift or midshift (flexible working hours); flexible to work in EMEA and US time zone if necessary
