Role: Material Planner
Location: Mijdrecht, Netherlands
As Material Planner, you will have the responsibility of the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) process, ensuring materials availability to support the production schedule at the optimal inventory investment and cost for the production site.
Responsibilities:
- Managing MRP process as well as facilitating/driving issue resolution
- Collaborate with supplier to ensure on-time and in-full deliveries and resolve supply issues
- Represent MRP during planning routines (huddles, SRM call, S&OP, cross-functional meetings )
- Proactive participation in project calls representing MRP function
- Accountable for service level (Case Fill Rate) and Inventory KPI’s within the site(s)
- Proactively communicating potential issues with the cross functional Supply Chain stakeholders – while leading issue resolution
- Conducting monthly root cause analysis of KPI’s and identify/drive corrective actions
- Updating and maintaining KPIs dashboard and supplier’s scorecard
- Ensuring proper Master Data maintenance
Experience you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Supply Chain fields
- Fluent level of English is a must, Dutch is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details
- Solid knowledge of PC-based applications (such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and/or Access)
- Experience using SAP is a plus
