As the Manager, Compensation – North America, you will serve as an integral member of the Total Rewards’ Corporate Compensation team as the Region’s liaison and subject matter expert on all related matters. At the direction of the Total Rewords COE, you will manage and lead identified compensation projects, including designing, deploying and executing of compensation initiatives.

You will also be responsible for understanding the goals of the business, supporting on the impacts, issues and requirements of compensation to help achieve the broader Total Rewards strategy and managing timelines needed to deliver results for the business.

Please Note: This is an on-site position in Racine

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Regionally lead the implementation of compensation priorities, aligned with the Company's objectives, initiatives and budget guidelines.

  • Proactively provide compensation consultation to the business and HR teams on relevant topics including market competitiveness, total compensation/benchmarking studies, market trends and best practices, and legislative, tax and social changes that impact current programs.

  • Manage global projects involving design-to-delivery of Total Rewards initiatives, including change management, communications and closely managing the relationship with the business through both operations and human resources. 

  • Provide compensation expertise in developing competitive offer packages and compelling offer models for internal and external candidates to better understand their potential total rewards. 

  • Partner with Finance to ensure that appropriate financial controls are in place for all merit-based and incentive-based compensation programs, and in evaluating and analyzing cost implications of current and proposed rewards plans.   

  • Collaborate with Legal and other internal stakeholders as needed to ensure compliance with local laws, regulations and contractual obligations.

  • Optimize systems and technology in support of advancing compensation program administration and analytics impacting the business.

  • Conduct regular gap-to-market assessments of total rewards positioning relative to the competitive market and lead annual processes including but not limited to compensation surveys and pay for performance.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with compensation organizations, outside consultants and vendors, and leading Rewards practitioners on best practice approaches, market trends and strategy.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • University degree and minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the analysis and design of compensation programs.  

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • An advanced degree is preferred (MBA, Masters in HR, Finance or related discipline)

  • CCP or related designations are highly desirable

  • Knowledge of compensation laws and regulations to drive strategy, philosophy, and compliance efforts 

  • Self-directed and able to manage multiple programs and projects simultaneously  

  • Excellent analytical and diagnostic problem-solving skills; highly proficient in Excel

  • Strong relationship building, interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) 

  • Experience with Workday and Payscale are preferred

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Full-Time, reporting into U.S. Corporate Headquarters

  • Travel:  10% of the time

  • Remote work is available once a week for eligible employees

  • This role is eligible for domestic relocation
