ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Manager, you will partner closely with key North America Supply Chain leaders. You will provide strategic business decision support, general financial analysis and control for the end-to-end Supply Chain Organization in the areas of Cost, Manufacturing, Logistics and Inventory. Additionally, you will have a team of direct reports that support North America Consumer Business (NACB).
To be successful, you will leverage broad financial perspective, act as a sounding board and liaison to business support groups and participate directly in the formulation of business plans.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and develop direct reports.
Serve as a business partner with NACB Supply Chain teams to drive strategic initiatives and achieve budgeted related metrics.
Finance lead on strategic initiatives and C$ave projects for NACB Supply Chain teams. May include playing a key role in ongoing RFPs for various modes of freight, 3PLs and logistics capital investments.
Lead the annual budget and monthly forecast process.
Manage weekly and monthly reporting of Supply Chain key financial and operational metrics, cost savings projects and expense projections as well as supply chain related accruals.
Lead project-oriented initiatives and perform ad hoc financial analysis.
Evaluate, approve and manage Supply Chain capital project spending.
Resolve Finished Goods variances at the Regional Distribution Centers (RDCs) and at Third Party Contract Manufacturers (3PMs).
Work with both internal and external auditors, audit recommendations and compliance.
Ensure strong communication and change management is developed and executed.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or relevant business program and 7+ years of directly relevant experience; OR an advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
MBA or CPA desired preferred
Strong planning, project management and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
Demonstrated initiative and ability to identify issues and work to resolve through teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
Experience in developing a highly motivated staff.
Experience applying Continuous Improvement frameworks to enhance performance, improve results and/or transform business outcomes
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate strategic thinking clearly and concisely with all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to influence, garnering support for initiatives by gaining respect of others, inspiring trust and confidence.
Demonstrated analytical thinking, including complex financial analysis, discounted cash flow/project valuation; and financial statement management (P&L analysis and modeling).
Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), Business Warehouse (BW), SAP, Excel.
