ABOUT THE ROLE
SC Johnson has an opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join the Global Supply Chain organization.
As Manager, you will provide financial decision support in direct partnership with the Executive Director for Global Supply Chain Strategy. This is an exciting career opportunity to gain a broad understanding of the Company’s supply chain footprint, perform complex financial modeling, and influence senior leadership through recommendations in partnership with the Global Supply Chain Strategy team. This is an individual contributor role that will leverage your technical finance and general business acumen in a consultative partnership between the Supply Chain and Finance senior leadership teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and influence global top initiatives in partnership with senior management within the Global Supply Chain executive team.
- Lead and/or assist with the completion of supply chain projects; from working with local teams to gather data for the project to presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Lead and/or assist on sourcing decisions by providing financial analysis and recommendations in partnership with the Global Supply Chain Strategy team.
- Assist on various Global Supply Chain budgeting/planning activities, including Corplan, forecasting and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with regional supply chain finance, business unit commercial finance, and HQ finance leaders to identify options to reduce global inconsistencies and improve operational effectiveness across the finance organization.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- 7+ years of directly related experience in finance
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
- CPA and/or MBA preferred
- Experience in supply chain finance, exposure to marketing/strategic business issues, significant analytical projects, and advanced cost accounting.
- Ability to manage complex projects (i.e., complex financial modeling) with a high degree of ambiguity.
- Experience leading or working with cross functional project teams
- Ability to influence and effectively collaborate to achieve objectives and produce results.
- Strong Communication and presentation skills to interface with and influence multiple levels of the organization.
- Additional leadership competences such as critical thinking, good judgment, team building, proactive issue resolution, creativity, and independence.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- This position will be located at Sam’s West campus in Mt. Pleasant, WI
- Full time business hours Mon through Fri
- Remote work available once a week for eligible employees
- This role is eligible for domestic relocation
