ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven leader to join our Better Work Portfolio Management team as Manager, Information Technology Portfolio Intelligence. In this high-impact role, you will lead a global team responsible for delivering actionable insights that drive our IT portfolio and digital transformation initiatives forward.
You will work cross-functionally with IT and business leaders to shape the future of our enterprise project portfolio—balancing structure with agility, and data with storytelling.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, support, and grow a global team of portfolio management professionals
Identify, recruit, onboard, and integrate new team members as necessary
Partner with matrixed Project Managers to obtain timely and accurate information while also making improvements to drive an increasing Net Promoter Score®
Own, assess, maintain, and improve the systems of record for project and portfolio information
Assess, refine, and build processes and capabilities to deliver accurate and reliable intelligence for cost, value, resources, timeline, interdependency, and process
Build, assess, and refine dashboards to communicate to all levels of the organization both inside and outside of IT
Identify and escalate risks and issues as needed inside IT and partner organizations to maintain quality delivery and timeliness
Adapt to dynamic changes and business complexities by balancing the need for formal structures and the need for agility
Partner with others to develop, maintain, and communicate a business focused roadmap of projects across the enterprise including tradeoffs and what ifs
Participate in the development of annual budgets and ongoing monitoring of project budgets
Support the prioritization of new project efforts utilizing resource and budget planning experience
Leverage analytical and quantitative skills for data-driven decision making and performing financial and operational analysis
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or information technology
5+ years of IT Planning and Portfolio Management experience with increasing responsibility
10+ years Business Analyst and/or Architecture experience in an IT organization
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
Past deployment of change management practices, storytelling, and influencing skills tailored to different organizational levels and to both IT and non-IT audiences
Demonstrated use of process improvement tools to produce measurable results
Demonstrated ability to both learn and teach new processes and tools
Experience working on iterative or Agile projects
Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in a dynamic, results oriented work environment
Prior experience working in a non-IT organization while partnering with IT to deliver success
Prior experience working in a privately held company
Demonstrated success working in a highly matrixed organization
Strong consultative skills (writing, listening, presentation and facilitation)
Strong understanding of CPG technologies and business practices
Significant experience with and knowledge of business architecture, portfolio planning, the IT project lifecycle, and project management
Current certification in program management

Ability to identify tradeoffs as they arise and to communicate them to leaders in a timely manner
Ability to create dashboards or other data visualization tools for senior leaders using automated tools (e.g., Tableau, Lucid, Power BI)
Ability to leverage automation tools within Microsoft Office (e.g., VBA Macros, PowerPivot, Power BI)
Training or certification in Agile, Breakthrough, Lean, or Six Sigma, and familiarity with Jira
Experience leveraging change and/or continuous improvement tools at SCJ
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Full Time onsite in Racine, WI.
Remote work available once a week for eligible employees
This role is not eligible for relocation
Up to 20% travel
