Reporting to the Director, Digital Strategy & Transformation, Global Sales & Marketing.   The Senior Program Manager, BPT Digital Strategy & Transformation- Commercial will be part of a diverse, highly talented, multi-disciplinary team responsible for delivering programs across business units and regions. A proven approach to creating innovative solutions while mitigating program/project risk is key, as is the ability to communicate clearly with senior leadership and project teams alike. The person in this role will demonstrate strong experience with Sales, Marketing, and e-Commerce business and technologies, end to end thinking, AI and digital acumen and ensure proper linkages to the digital strategies within our North America business unit functions.


In this role you will provide leadership and program/project governance, project/product team direction and coordination, driving consistency and quality of outcomes while ensuring initiatives are delivered on time and on budget. You will work directly with business and IT leadership to define approaches to delivery outcomes, develop business cases and resulting and measured KPIs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Principal lead for delivery efforts in the deployment of successful projects, aligned with the SCJ strategic objectives, executing the strategic roadmap

  • Lead strategic program/project objectives and their key success factors, utilizing subject matter skills and expertise across matrixed teams to deliver impactful and measurable solutions

  • Partner with business sponsors, stakeholders, and IT leaders to coordinate resources, align priorities, manage budget, scope, risks and issues, and establish support models to ensure program/project/product long term success

  • Provide regular, timely, transparent communication on progress against digital product / solutions and programs to both internal BPT and functional stakeholders, including Steer Co & Program update preparation/delivery

  • Participate in technology evaluations to assess products against the requirements and create materials making recommendations with supporting data & analysis; Develop detailed business cases, cost/benefit analyses, ROIs and financial models

  • Manage implementation partner and vendor relationships including contract definition, negotiations, and execution of RFIs and RFPs for successful partnership

  • Champion and be an integral part of our Better Work-Better World’s digital journey, defining and adhering to measurement and tracking of KPIs to accelerate business outcomes, in partnership with the business unit, regional and functional stakeholders

  • Review technical requirements to ensure alignment with business strategy, while providing constructive input and direction for application delivery, project, and operational teams

  • Ensure compliance to established project methodologies, ensuring that communication channels and appropriate milestone reviews are executed; Provide oversight to manage resource, cost and timeline planning for program/projects

  • Manage solution coordination / alignment / readiness within the IT organization, including Security, Infrastructure & Operations, and Data & Analytics teams

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of products, solutions, competition, customer, industry and digital trends related to CPG Sales and Marketing functions

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, relevant/related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 10 + years of professional program management experience exemplified by complex full life-cycle projects/products in a global setting

  • 7 + years of demonstrated experience shepherding entire programs from kickoff to completion, managing multiple programs in a fast-paced, deadline focused environment and mastery as a program manager, delivery successful IT and operational excellence initiatives

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Self-starter who works with minimal supervision, knows what needs to be done and is a natural leader maintaining a strong work ethic and focus to deliver

  • Deep understanding of global sales and marketing business processes and technical capabilities/applications/tools/complexities

  • Ability to manage ambiguity, problem solve and implement/modify program/project control processes and/or metrics as needed to ensure target outcomes are achieved

  • Deep experience in full SDLC and IT governance and working knowledge of IT outsourcing models and governance including Cloud, Managed Services, Strategic Sourcing partnerships

  • Experience and familiarity with Agile methodology and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
