Finance and Accounting Job ID: 32386ABOUT THE ROLE
The purpose of this role is to support the global Accounts Payable function, which has a virtual global team structure. This position is responsible for overall global policy, process, governance & Controls Leadership. Additionally, this position is responsible for system improvement and enhancement leadership that will drive efficiency and effectiveness. This position serves a critical liaison role with multiple Accounts Payable regional teams to drive global standardization and process improvements.
This position will have a dotted line reporting to LATAM R2R-AP Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide overall global policy, process, governance & Controls Leadership, including SOAR
Controls - Lead the global AP forecasting and commentary, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Responsible for managing global Reporting & Analytics, including creation of new global
reports that provide insights to meet the business needs and drive improvements. - Act as a global escalation point for SAP/other tool global system access escalations &
administration. - Work collaboratively and cross functionally with the other SSC COE roles and OPEX to
identify SAP enhancements and partner with GPO to gain alignment and BPT to ensure
execution. - Serve as a primary interface with BPT for SAP/other tool issues ensuring effective
communication between business and BPT. - Custodian of SAP/other tool global documentation and training materials for Accounts Payable.
- Actively participate in LEAN and continuous improvement and identifies and implements
continuous improvement on global processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. - Provide leadership and contribute on global and regional projects as required.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
- 7+ years of relevant work experience (AP/R2R/Treasury)
- Demonstrated system skills in SAP and a solid ability to integrate SAP/other tools.
- Ability to work on own initiative and have excellent attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills and Intermediate MS Excel skills.
- Strong IT/Computer literate skills.
- Good Communication skills and English fluency.
- Strong change agent and continuous process improvement champion.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with deadlines.
- Flexible and can operate efficiently under continuous change and ambiguity.
- Ability to influence global stakeholders.
- Possess strong initiative and proactive in anticipating problem which may occur.
- Results focused, with a strong sense of personal ownership.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
- Previous experience in multi-cultural teams
- Project management and presentation skills.
- Previous experience of delivering training and coaching.
