The Associate Manager Logistics, Transportation is responsible for ensuring delivering finished goods to customers on time, in full, and in accordance with quality and safety standards. This role oversees warehouse operation focused on outbound activities, inventory control, and stock accuracy.
You will lead daily warehouse operation teams, supervise warehouse infrastructure, equipment conditions, and operational procedures to ensure optimal efficiency and cost effective logistics execution.
This role plays a critical part in safeguarding product integrity, maintaining accurate documentation, and complying with operational procedures. You will also drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and logistics processes, strengthen cross functional collaboration with Quality, Planning, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and suppliers, and ensure strict adherence to SHE/Q and regulatory guidelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead warehouse operations by planning, organizing, directing, and controlling picking storage; outbound activities to ensure operational continuity and efficiency.
- Ensure inventory accuracy by supervising daily, weekly and monthly controls of entries, exits, transfers, discrepancies, and stock conditions.
- Guarantee on‑time, in‑full delivery performance by managing daily shipment planning, customer appointment compliance, and coordination with handling & transport carriers.
- Oversee warehouse infrastructure and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance, safe operating conditions, and asset optimization to support service reliability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, Quality, SHE compliance, and cost‑efficiency across all logistics and warehousing processes.
- Supervise and develop operational staff, including shift personnel, ensuring correct role assignments, training, and performance.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory accuracy, operation, overtime, QNON/CAPA, and budget adherence.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures and maintain documentation such as operating procedures, supply plans, sales plans, contracts, purchase orders, and pallet Chep management.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Quality, SHE, Planning, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Maintenance, Suppliers, and contractors to ensure seamless logistics execution.
- Maintain end‑to‑end control of product flow, from warehouse receipt to customer delivery, safeguarding quality and customer satisfaction.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, Foreign Trade or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar warehouse, logistics, or transportation leadership role, managing end to end operations and teams
- Proven experience in inventory control, including managing entries, exits, stock accuracy, discrepancies, and cycle counts.
- Background in logistics and warehouse process improvement, including implementation of productivity, quality, or efficiency initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise operational teams, ensuring role clarity, training, and achievement of service goals.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse movement control, including inbound/outbound, distribution flows, and handling of finished goods.
- Strong knowledge of SAP and WMS systems
- Advanced English proficiency
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross functional teams.
