ROLE SUMMARY

Reporting into the Director, Human Resources Business Partner, the purpose of the role is to provide HR business partnering support to the Global Consumer Brands organization and Headquarter functions in the South Europe Country Group (Italy, Greece, Romania, Adriatics, Israel).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • HR Business Partnering: Be the expert on SCJ HR policies and processes for your geographical scope, making sure they are up to date and compliant with employment legislation; be a trusted advisor for employees and lines managers ensuring their understanding and alignment with company policies.
  • Talent Management: Drive the full talent management cycles of employees, from onboarding to growth and career planning, in partnership with Talent Acquisition and line managers.
  • Performance and Capability building: Contribute to build a high-performance culture by supporting the implementation of global and regional talent initiatives and ensuring our people have the tools and opportunities to thrive.
  • Employee Relations: Provide coaching and guidance on all employee relation matters ensuring legal compliance, employee advocacy and business partnership.
  • HR Operations: Partner with the HR Delivery team to ensure effective HR operations throughout the employee life cycle.
  • Onboarding: Lead and deliver the local HR induction process to ensure an impactful onboarding experience for our employees.
  • Employee Engagement: Play a key part in driving employee engagement, bringing to life the SCJ experience, in partnership with Great Place to Work Ambassadors.
  • HR Operations: Support the HR Delivery team to ensure effective HR operations throughout the employee life cycle.
  • Employee Relations: Provide advice, guidance and support to employees and line managers across the organization on HR matters, ensuring legal compliance, employee advocacy and business focus.
  • HR Projects: Lead and/or deliver HR projects as required i.e. change management initiatives, our diversity and inclusion roadmap, people leader academy, as well as supporting the business on key projects.

EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Background in Economics or Law, or a field where you’ve developed analytical thinking and a passion for people.
  • Fully proficient in Italian and English language
  • Experience in HR or people-related roles, ideally with exposure to payroll or HR operations in a corporate setting. We are also open to consider candidates coming from the business with no/limited HR experience.
  • General understanding of Italy employment law and ability to work with local consultants for other countries.
