Role Overview
The Associate Manager, Infrastructure & Operations – Regional Operations Management plays a key role in supporting IT service delivery across the EMEA region. This position is part of a global team responsible for enabling business operations through reliable and efficient IT infrastructure and services.
The role focuses on enhancing customer experience, maintaining strong business relationships, and serving as a key escalation point for operational IT needs. This includes active engagement across the IT Service Management lifecycle—from service design and transition to operations—to ensure services are delivered effectively and aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Business Engagement
- Serve as the primary contact for regional business leads regarding IT operations and service delivery.
- Communicate proactively with business stakeholders about upcoming changes, projects, and events across regional sites.
- Facilitate education and escalation between business partners and IT teams.
Service Delivery & Incident Management
- Coordinate with Service Delivery teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents, driving high customer satisfaction.
- Foster a work culture focused on service excellence, customer experience, and cost-effective service delivery.
Project & Change Coordination
- Partner with PMO, Organizational Change Management, and strategic vendors to deliver infrastructure services and projects aligned with business needs.
- Participate in Change Advisory Boards (CAB/ECAB) to review and approve changes impacting business operations.
Operational Excellence & Collaboration
- Promote operational excellence, process compliance, and a continuous improvement mindset across the IT organization.
- Collaborate with local technical teams on data center, network, and power initiatives.
- Partner with other IT groups, including Business Relationship Managers (BRMs), to ensure customer requirements are met.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field (military experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
- 5+ years of experience in IT or business/industry roles, including customer-facing experience.
- 3+ years of global project management experience.
- Authorization to work in the country of hire.
- Ability to travel within the EMEA region and occasionally to the United States.
- Fluent in English, familiarity with other EMEA languages a plus (Spanish, French, and Italian)
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL v4 certification or strong ITIL mindset.
- Demonstrated leadership skills—leading self, leading others, and leading the business.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and working with managed service providers.
- Experience operating within geographically diverse global teams.
- Familiarity with regional compliance standards (e.g., GDPR) and multicultural work environments.
- Language proficiency in English required; additional regional languages (e.g., French, German, Arabic) are a plus.
