Leads category strategy for Walmart, ensuring its sustainable growth from shopper insight to execution at the point of sale.
This role combines data analysis, operational coordination, and strategic support, contributing to efficient product portfolio management and the development of shopper-oriented commercial initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Category Development
- Defined the category vision & strategy for Walmart Category
- Identify growth opportunities based on category insights and customer needs
- Convert shopper insights into commercial actions
- Portfolio and Shelf management
- Desing shelf strategy per retail environment
- Act as category developer no as brand developer
- Periodic market and sales reporting
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Category Management as a coordinator, preferably with Walmart
- Advanced English proficiency
- Advanced skills in Excel, Power Point, Nielsen, Retail Link & JDA
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
- Proficiency in Access, ISCAM, Scintilla, and Kantar strongly preferred
- Ability to influence business outcomes through data and consumer insights
- Ability to build clear, shopper – oriented category stories
- Ability to present recommendations in a structured manner aligned with the client’s process
- Discipline in analysis and customer service
- Strong analytical skills to convert data into strategy & actionable plans
- Proven ability to influence and lead across functions

- This role is not eligible for relocation
