ABOUT THE ROLE
In this exciting role you will develop training programs that are consistent, repeatable, and sustainable. Our mission is to help SC Johnson people achieve their full potential with the support of our learning and development programs. To be successful in his role you must possess bias for action and will develop top learning interventions that continuously raise the learning and development bar across the SCJ organization.
In this role you will be an internal consultant, able to partner closely with Learning Mangers while executing work independently. Key competencies and experience include instructional design, learning technology and multimedia development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Able to work within an agile and flexible model to create value added learning initiatives through deep partnerships with learning managers.
Applies instructional systems approach to curriculum design, re-design, and development
Applies principles of adult learning to the design and development of learning solutions and is able to adjust techniques for maximum learning transfer and sustainment
Designs and develops innovative solutions for in-person and digital learning (job-aids, facilitator guides, slide decks, eLearning, web, video, interactive content, etc.)
Maintains and promotes approved standards for all learning solutions
Embeds consistent feedback tools and evaluations to determine the effectiveness of the learning solution, aligned across all learning interventions
Conducts on-going audits of existing learning solutions to ensure relevance of content and makes changes/updates in a timely manner
Understands adult learning and learner needs and is able to adjust techniques for maximum learning transfer and sustainment
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in learning and development with a specialization in learning technology, instructional design, and multimedia development
3+ years demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively in a fast-paced environment
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
Proficient with MS Office, Articulate Studio, RISE and Storyline, Learning Management Systems, and other talent technology (Vyond Enterprise and other available authoring tools)
Knowledge of and practical experience in applying behavioral, performance, and learning best practices and theories; especially with how technology such as AI can be leveraged to accelerate learning and development (ideation, scripting, and personalization)
Able to translate complex concepts into engaging, learner-friendly content across modalities (eLearning, microlearning, video and ILT materials)
Skilled at gathering input, managing expectations, and translating business needs into learning solutions
Experience with localization and translation workflows
Content publishing and LMS administration
Quality assurance and testing of learning content
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Full Time, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Remote work available once a week for eligible employees
This role is not eligible for relocation
